The goals and purpose of establishing the Community are: Promoting the values of the Homeland War, Preservation of heritage, dignity and traditions of the units of the Croatian Army, which included veterans from the area of operation of the Community, Protecting the status, dignity and interests of Croatian veterans and disabled Croatian war veterans from the Homeland War and their families, and providing all kinds of assistance to its members, Spreading the truth about Croatian history and the war sufferings of the Croatian people, especially during the Homeland War, Participation in the work of Veterans' Cooperatives, Networking with Croatian and international associations and organizations of war veterans.
