There are around 15 different varieties of snakes living in Croatia,
but only three of those are venomous –
Common Adder, Karst Meadow Viper and Nose-horned Viper.
Nose-horned Viper is the largest snake in Europe with the largest poisonous glands and teeth. Teeth of very large specimens can be up to 1 cm long.
