Centred in the heart of the city, surrounded by a magnificent park and only a few minutes on foot from the beach and acclaimed “Lungo mare” sea walk, Hotel Opatija will fulfil all your expectations. Hotel dates back to 1888 when the Austrian brewery owner Reininghaus built a sanatorium “Dr. Schwarz”, which was soon renamed to “Quisisana”. Besides being the oldest sanatorium in Opatija, which was at that time a renowned spa, the first pharmacy in Opatija was also located there.
