Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development (HBOR) is a state-owned development bank. The primary tasks of the Bank include granting long-term loans for the reconstruction and development of Croatian economy and infrastructure, for export financing and insuring Croatian export companies against commercial and non-commercial risks as well as for promoting small and medium sized enterprises. The distinctive feature of HBOR’s credit activity is granting loans through Croatian commercial banks that accepted the co-operation on supporting HBOR’s credit programmes.
